Canyoning Stuiben Falls Description
Canyoning Bavaria Stuiben Falls is the classic beginners tour for the canyoning novice.
Situated below the idyllic Plansee Lake near Reutte, the Stuiben Falls offers crystal clear waters and many deep green pools. We can often jump into these and even the highest abseil actually ends in one of these pools.
The special thing about the Stuiben Falls: You can, but you don´t have to! Is the highest jump at 8 Meters too high for you? No problem, the path around the jump is easier than the way to the jump.
The 30 Meter abseil is a number too high for you? Then you can go to the viewing platform and watch your friends. After then taking an easy hiking trail you can meet up with the rest of the group again directly below the abseil.
So everyone gets their money´s worth on our beginners tour: There is plenty of Action with up to 10 different jumping points, but there are no difficult mandatory passages – a perfect Beginners Tour!

Canyoning at the Stuiben Falls takes place from 1. April to 31. October.
We run this very popular tour daily.
We are often fully booked on Saturdays in particular – we therefore recommend that you switch to other days of the week if possible.
Attendees
3 - 16 People
We run the Canyon with a minimum of 3 participants.
The maximum number of participants in a group is 16.
Two Guides are used to supervise groups of 9 or more participants.
If you are planning the tour with a group of more than 16 people, we ask you to contact our office directly so that we can explore the possibilities together.
Duration
3 to 4 Hours
The Canyoning Tour at the Stuiben Falls takes about 3.5 to 4 hours.
The pure time in the Water is about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. The rest of the time is planned in for preparation and instruction.
Criteria
From 12 Years of Age
Canyoning at the Stuiben Falls is a Beginners Tour.
In plain language: a certain level of fitness is required (30 minutes of uphill walking with a wetsuit on and endurance for around 3 hours of physical activity), but no Canyoning experience or other prior knowledge is required.
The minimum age is 12 years. (7 years for Family Canyoning).
Swimming skills and Sobriety are required.

Meeting Point
We meet for Canyoning at the Stuiben Falls at the lower end of the Canyon in Reutte. You don’t have to be at the indicated meeting point earlier than the specified time, but you shouldn’t come too late either…
Our standard start times are 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., but different start times are also possible.
To bring with you
With your booking, you will also receive a list of what you need to bring with you. This is usually not much more than bathing suits and a towel, because you will get from us the complete equipment required, including a wetsuit, neoprene socks, shoes, helmet and harness.
Procedure
After the welcome greeting and an introduction to the rest of the process, we get dressed into our Canyoning Gear. We then walk uphill for about 25 – 30 minutes before our guides give a detailed safety briefing and the final safety equipment inspection. Then the fun really starts!

- it may be that we have to change your tour and walk another gorge, or skip parts of the tour
- we may have to cancel your tour – we will agree individually on how to proceed afterwards
- we will try to avoid it of course, but in view of the increasing frequency of extreme weather conditions, there can also be very short-notice cancellations.
The bottom line is: if we see a reason for changes in the tour due to safety, we will contact you immediately!
Catering
Canyoning at the Stuiben Falls is a half-day tour. Unfortunately we do not provide food.
After the tour you have many possibilities to stop in and around Reutte – there is something available for every taste!
